Description

Traitors is a social deduction shooter for 4-12 players. The randomized room layout makes the game stand out and is a breath of fresh air in a genre that might have a tendency to get repetitive quickly. Some of the rooms have unique objects and dangers the players can interact with, further increasing replayability, such as teleporters, operable bridges over lava pools, intercom systems, CCTV cameras, vending machines and main power switches.

The game features alien enemies and other hazards that keep the players on their toes, as they do not discriminate players based on teams. There are currently 4 different enemies with unique behaviour. The bigger monsters pose a threat at the beginning of the game, before players have access to firearms.

The Crewmates will try to repair the station's communication equipment and call for evacuation, while the outnumbered Traitors will use special tools to stop that from happening. Players will have to locate codes and resources to craft keycards to access the Communications and Supply rooms. The items needed to repair the communication equipment are scattered around the station, with the amount of required items and the amount of rooms per round increasing with the player count.

An oxygen generator mechanic adds a soft timer to each round. When the generator runs out of power, players can no longer use it to replenish their personal oxygen tanks and will have to rely on looting or purchasing more oxygen.

At the start of each round a percentage of players are assigned as Traitors and must stop the other players from evacuating. The game also features Sheriff and Serial Killer roles, where the Sheriff is a Crewmate that is guaranteed to not be a Traitor and has access to credits which can be used to purchase special tools and equipment. The Serial Killer is a lone wolf, whose only objective is to be the last man standing, making sure even the Traitors have to keep their guard up.

The game features lots of items and weapons to keep things interesting. While weapons such as pistols, rifles, shotguns, melee weapons and grenade launchers spawn in safes and Supply Rooms, Traitors and Sheriffs can earn and use credits to purchase more specialized items, such as disguisers, mines, tasers and handcuffs.

Hosts can customize the match settings, including the roles, loot and procedural generation rules. We would like to keep implementing more interesting and fun rules.
